No Pedicabs at UT Football Stadium
Aug 30, 2006 Austin, TX, News, Pedicab, Updates Leave a comment
Unfortunately, due to atrocious behavior and driving by a few bike trailer operators, all pedicabs have been banned from the University of Texas campus during and around the time of U.T. Football games. Although we may be working the area around campus, Capital Pedicab regrets that we will not be able to provide service to the stadium. We know that some of you have depended on us for this service and we are sorry not to be able to help. If you feel that pedicab service to and from U.T. Football games is important to you, we encourage you to inform the University of Texas Parking and Transportation Department of those feelings. Sorry for any inconvienence.
Capital Pedicab uses only professionally manufactured and proven safe, tricycle type, pedicabs built by Main St. Pedicabs.

Pedicabs in Houston
Jul 25, 2006 Pedicab Leave a comment
Pedicabs were mentioned in the Houston Chronicle a few weeks ago in the article Dancing for fans is Dynamite.
“I’m noticing fewer and fewer horse-drawn carriages in New York and more and more human-powered bicycle cabs. This is a good thing. For starters, a pedicab ride is much cheaper (one-fourth the price of a horsy ride). And pedicabs aren’t cruel to animals, just to the guy who’s pedaling it. Presumably, he’s doing this by choice.” – Ken Hoffman
